I'm sorry to tell you this. But I have had this subject in science and went over it a lot of times and through out a lot experiments it's been proven that there's no permanent facial hair removal they ALL grow back at some point the maximum length of time you can keep them away is 2 years but even after that they always grow back as this is a gene in your DNA therefore nothing can change it. It doesn't matter if you're a redhead or a person with dark hair.

Hair and facial-hair styles for a redhead?
I think the title pretty much sums it up. I have red hair, and I'd like to get an idea of a haircut and beard style that might suit.

My facial hair, much like my head-hair, looks more like a blondish-tint of red. It tends to be slightly bushy if it grows very much, but I'm pretty good and keeping it well groomed and trimmed up.

Currently, I'm rockin a short faux hawk and a beard along my jawline. My sister thinks I should stick with longer sideburns and a goatee (no mustache). Then again, she's not the one I'm trying to impress :P

Any suggestions, those with pictures especially, are appreciated. Sorry I don't have a pic of myself right now : /

P.S. If it helps, I've been told I have "high cheekbones", a "roundish-Oval face", and kinda full lips.

Why is my facial hair a different color from my real hair?
My family is Irish heritage so we have a lot of redheads. I never got red hair (though my dad and sisters have it), I got brown. However, I started growing a goatee recently, just for looks, and my goatee is red. I never let my facial hair get long enough to notice before, but I have brown hair and a red goatee. It tends to clash. How is it that you can have one color hair on top of your head, and another color facial hair?

It's possible to have a different-colored hair on your head and on your face. Don't know why, but I suppose it's down to the genes. Maybe different genes are responsible for the head hair & facial hair. I've heard of people having blond hair on the head and black on the face, but your case is rather unusual.

Helloo, I'd like to know if you think I'd look good with bleached hair or as a redhead? If you have any other ideas please tell me. I recently dyed my hair to a reddish brunette. It looks red, but I love it. Everyone else from my school seems to like to too XD

I've heard if you weren't born blonde, than you really can't pull of being a blonde. It really is true, no matter what people think XD Fortunately, I was born blonde :D But over the years my hair got darker and darker. I expected it to, because everyone else in my family had dark hair. I have bright green eyes, and my skin is kind of pale. Not really pale though. My facial skin is fair, so it doesn't tan. It just gets sun burnt. But after about a week, the sun burn goes away.

Your hair is too dark to bleach. it'd look gold and fake.

I like thick/curvy women, but also slender women. Older women and girls my own age. Brunettes and redheads mostly, but sometimes blonde.

I have very dark hair & my husband is blonde. We both have hazel eyes. When I was pregnant with our baby, we used to make bets on what color her hair & eyes would be.

Imagine our surprise when she came out redheaded with the darkest deep brown puppy dog eyes we'd ever seen! She looks like her daddy- facial structure and all- but the hair and eyes surprised us.

She met his grandmother for the first time recently (she's now 2 years old) and his grandma just laughed her head off because apparently, there was a surprise redhead a few generations back, as well.

I have one that is not mine, but a couple that I work with. They are both extremely white (like, they could get a sunburn if they stand in front of an open refrigerator for too long)....they both have straight blond hair and blue eyes. Their BIOLOGICAL guy is black. He has dark brown skin, brown eyes and black curly hair. Neither one of them have black ancestors in their family. The guy looks just like the father (as far as the shape of his face, lips, nose and such). As far as I know, there have been no clear explanations of how this can happen. But it did.

This might sound stupid, but it works.

Get a foundation with a green tint. Seriously. They sell them. I know smashbox has some and I want to say revlon or covergirl has it too.

Since green is the opposite of red, the green takes away the red. Works with sunburn too!

What haircut (or facial hair) would look good on a redheaded man?
Well, I'm constantly tryin different things, but since I don't know anyone who will give me an *honest* opinion, I'm just gonna ask Yahoo Answers... again. I'm about 6' foot, I have a fairly muscular build, but since I'm kind of overweight, not really "buff" (though I *am* working on that :). Usually, I only see redheaded guys with short hair, would looks very plain, no personality, and makes them seem even paler. Then again, other redheaded guys seem to apt for long hair, which if they don't put enough effort in, looks very "bum-ish".

I'm thinking of going with a buzzhawk (still hair on the sides, but much shorter than the 'hawk), with a goatee and long sideburns. But, keeping in mind I am a natural redhead, that means light skin, and freckles (not so much on my face, but my arms). And also, since I'm not in great shape, would it look wierd?

Anyways, gimme your thoughts on that, and if you have any suggestions. Redhead-men have a hard time looking good, so any help is welcome. :)

As a red-headed female (we are the greatest!)....I have to suggest that you think about getting your hair darkened. Just a shade or two darker. Add some dimension to the washed out effect of pale skin and red hair. Keep your hair shorter and don't have the facial hair growing.
If you don't like the color--your hair will grow out fairly quickly and then be back to natural red. On occasion I color my hair darker, or get highlights, just to take away from the RED-ness (i.e. orange) in it.
